KINKY FRIEDMAN HAS ANNOUNCED CANIDIDACY FOR GOVENOR OF TEXAS! Kinky appeared on MSNBC's 'Imus Show' on February 3rd, to announce his candidacy for the governorship. Billy Joe Shaver gave an invocation prior to Kinky's announcement. The announcement was made in front of the Alamo, then Kinky took the cameras to the bar at the Menger Hotel, where Asleep At the Wheel and Sweet Mary's Blazing Bows, our group of children fiddlers, joined Kinky for more on-air fun.

Sphincter Records was able to procure them (by a hooker and a couple of crooks) and had them lovingly remastered digitally by Drummond the drunken Druid and now for the first time they are available on CD!
